Over seventy years ago, James D. Scully, Sr. founded Scully Company, which has been owned and operated by the Scully family ever since. Operating in diverse locations, with a keen focus on local market knowledge, we have achieved recognition as a leader in the multifamily industry, which remains our specialty.

As President of Scully Company, Jessica Scully oversees the company’s property management operations for a portfolio of apartment communities throughout the Northeast and Southeast. She also provides consulting in the development and redevelopment of communities for both Scully Company and third-party owners. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University and is a Certified Property Manager, designated by the Institute of Real Estate Management of the National Association of Realtors. In 2010, she was appointed to the National Apartment Association Board of Directors as Region IV VP. Jessica also serves on the Board of Directors for the Apartment Association of Greater Philadelphia and is a past President. She is the 2010 and 2011 President of the Apartment Association of Pennsylvania. Jessica is a member of the Villanova University Center for Real Estate Advisory Council. She is also a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Young Presidents' Organization.
Michael has vast experience in the acquisition, development, financing, construction, renovation and management of large-scale high rise and garden apartment and condominium communities. He is active in these capacities for the firm’s own account as well as for institutional and private joint ventures with Scully and fee assignments. He is a graduate of Villanova University School of Business, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. Michael is a licensed real estate broker in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey and a member of the National Association of Realtors, the National Multi Housing Council (Board of Directors), the Institute of Real Estate Management, the Philadelphia Board of Realtors and the Apartment Association of Greater Philadelphia for which he has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1998. He is a Certified Property Manager, designated by the Institute of Real Estate Management of the National Association of Realtors and is a past President of the Institute’s Philadelphia Area Chapter #3. Since 1988, he has served on the Board of Trustees of Abington Memorial Hospital, a Philadelphia area acute care teaching hospital. Michael is a member of the Villanova University Center for Real Estate Advisory Council, a member of the VSB Dean’s Advisory Council and a member of the Advisory Board of The John F. Scarpa Center for Law and Entrepreneurship. Real Estate Forum Magazine, a national publication, recently named Michael a “Philadelphia Real Estate Icon”.
Jim’s more than 40-year career in real estate encompasses acquisition, development, financing, construction, renovation and management of large-scale apartment and condominium communities for Scully Company and their clients including condominium conversions. A graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He joined the company after serving in in the United States Navy as a Lieutenant. He holds a real estate broker’s license in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the National Multi Housing Council (Board of Directors), the Institute of Real Estate Management, the Philadelphia Board of Realtors and the Apartment Association of Greater Philadelphia. He also served on the Board of Trustees for the Philadelphia Hospital of Osteopathic Medicine. He is on the Board of the Act II Theatre in Ambler, PA and on the Board of the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia, PA.
